Kharge criticized the “failure” of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Manipur and said, “President’s rule was imposed only to hide it.” The Congress president said there has been no relief from inflation and the cut in GST has proved to be just a manipulation of figures.

He said that atrocities against Dalits, tribal population, backward classes and minorities had increased to such an extent that even the Chief Justice of India (CJI) was not spared.

He said, “Be it the stampede at Kumbh or the chaos at Delhi station, innocent people lost their lives due to cough syrup, yet no one took responsibility.”
He said, “Overall, even in 2025, the people of the country will be under the shadow of BJP’s loot, corruption and misgovernance.”
