New Delhi, Oct 13 (IANS) The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has made changes in its party leadership in the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Territorial Congress Committee with immediate effect, according to a press statement issued by Congress national general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal late on Sunday night.
The move, approved by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, signals a strategic realignment ahead of the future election battle.
The revamped team features four Vice-Presidents; Mahesh Dodhi, Naushad Shaikh, Ajit Mahla, and Nana Saheb Shinde.
Harun Sumra has been appointed Congress Treasurer, tasked with overseeing the fiscal strategy of the region.
The general secretaries include a strong line-up of Rajendra Patel, Deepak Desai, Ketan Patel, Digesh Joshi, Ritesh Roopsari and Sadiq Sheikh who will drive the operational agenda of the party.
Meaning, the secretaries appointed include Jaipal Rathore, Sanjay Lodhi, Prashat Sharma, Suresh Radia, Satish Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, Prem Kadu, Zuber Khalan, Zuber Khan, Kiran Patel, Uma Harpadia, Saraswati Mahala, Hema Waghodia, Jayshree Walvi and Vanita Meshram, bringing diverse perspectives. Grassroots effort.
Executive Member, A Critical Support Tier, Compris Praveen Janathia, Sandeep Bhima, Sandeep Borsa, Shyam Gimbal, Vishnu Kakar, Vasant Dhindiha, Praveen Namkudiya, Amrat Boba, Subhash Kharpadia, Praveen Kurkutiya, Nilesh Gavit, Madhu Singda, Ramu Bhawar, Bindu Devi, Sahil Bhokia, Vijay Kinari, Amol Meshram, Avinash Gorat, Pavlush Wangd, Devjia Choudhary, Vine Gabare, Hitesh Roopsari and Ritesh Wad.
This comprehensive team is set to strengthen the organizational structure of the Congress in the region.
