Bhubaneswar, September 26 (IANS) All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced the appointment of presidents for all 35 organizational district Congress Committees (DCC) in Odisha on Friday.
According to a press note signed by AICC General Secretary (Organization) KC Venugopal, Congress President Mallikrajun Kharge has approved the proposal for immediate implementation of the appointments of presidents to all 35 organizational DCCs and issued a list of names.
“The Congress President has approved the proposal of appointment of presidents of the District Congress Committees of Odisha, as is engaged with immediate effect. These appointments have been made as part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan. Under this initiative, under this initiative, AICC supervisors handed over to each district, which have been presented with a detailed review.
Based on this process, 35 leaders have been elected and declared as presidents of the respective organizational district Congress committees.
It is advisable to mention here that AICC General Secretary (Organization) KC Venugopal held a review meeting with the prestigious party supervisors for Odisha for the Sangthan Srijan campaign in Delhi on Monday.
As part of the campaign, the AICC General Secretary during his recent visit to Odisha, also interacted with members of the Odisha Congress Committee (PAC), Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) members, AICC supervisors, other senior party leaders, MLAs and workers, which were during two important party meetings in Bhubnesswar.
During a meeting with PAC members and other party leaders in Odisha, Venugopal emphasized the need to strengthen the organization at the district and ground and said that PCC supervisors should play a decisive role in the process.
Venugopal also said that the selection of presidents for all 35 organizational districts in Odisha will be completed by 30 September under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.
Under this initiative, AICC observers assigned to each district conducted a detailed review.
