New Delhi, October 16 (IANS) The All India Congress has reconstituted the “Gaurav Election Committee” of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Territorial Congress Committee on October 16.
These changes highlight the party’s strategic effort to enhance its organizational strength in various sectors and roles.
A press release detailed the formation of the Pradesh Election Committee of the Union Territory. The new members are Prabhu Tokiya, Ajit Mahala, Mahesh Dhodi, Rajendra Patel, Sadik Shaikh, Digesh Joshi, Raman Kakwa, Nana Saheb Shinde, Amol Meshram, and Vanita Meshram.
The purpose of this appointment is to strengthen the party’s election preparations in the region. The Political Affairs Committee has been expanded with six additional members: Rajmohan Unnithan, VK Srikandan, Dean Kuriakose, Pandalam Sudhakaran, CP Mohammed and AK Mani.
The move is designed to boost the capacity of the committee to deal with political challenges and formulate effective strategies.
The list of general secretaries now includes a diverse group of 22 members, including Pazhakulam Madhu, Tommy Kallani, K Jayanth, Deepthi Mary Varghese and PA Saleem.
This team will oversee the national operations and policy implementation of the party.
The list of vice-presidents includes 13 members, namely T Sarathchandra Prasad, Hibi Eden and Roy K Paulose, with VA Narayananam appointed as the new treasurer.
The Secretary General’s list joins 58 members like N Shailaj, BRM Shafir and Simon Alex, reflecting broad representation across India.
These updates, announced on Thursday, signal the Congress party’s dedication to reviving its leadership.
