Mumbai, September 19 (IANS) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday directed the administration to take necessary action to remove the situation within some limits of land to obtain non-agricultural licenses for micro and small industries and food processing industries.
The decision in this regard was taken in a policy reform meeting under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister on Thursday.
“The government implements various policies to progress the state in all regions. These policies should be in the interest of the broader society keeping in mind the challenges of the future. Policies should be used to make the lives of common citizens more tolerable. Many areas will take forward the state than other states of the country.
The Chief Minister said, “To enrich the state through the development of these areas, policies based on such areas are being implemented. All these policies will be dedicated to the development of the state and the welfare of the society.”
CM Fadnavis said that ‘industrial township’ should be established in large industrial wealth in the state. It will be important for manpower working in industries. If housing facilities are provided around the industries, the efficiency of the workers will increase. He further said that all civil facilities should be provided in these townships. To ensure that they receive civil facilities available in the city and village.
He said that an essential control system should be installed under the ‘subcutaneous care policy’ to reduce the symptoms and pain seen after recovery due to the treatment of serious diseases like cancer, which is very important in third and fourth stage cancer. He said that a policy should be made for the use and availability of drugs that reduce symptoms and pain.
CM Fadnavis advocated that some industries would have to generate captive electricity. Due to this, competitive electricity rates will be made and electricity consumers will benefit from it. In addition, industries will get confident electricity. He also emphasized the need to organize regular training programs for workers in industrial units to enhance his skills.
A scholarship scheme should be launched for workers working in industries on the lines of other scholarship schemes.
He said, “An online portal should be created for payments made by the government for subtle, small and medium enterprises. There should be an ‘automatic system’ for this. Also, the service provider should know the status of its payment,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that new concepts should be implemented to compensate the loss of export from the US due to 50 percent import duty, saying that there is a need to find alternative markets.
He suggested that teak plantation should be increased to meet the forest department to take necessary action in this regard, asking for the domestic demand of teak wood.
Today, during the policy reform meeting, active drug component manufacturing policy, subscriber care policy, micro, small and medium enterprise payment system, biogas policy, onion Mahabank, non-agricultural licensing system and 50 percent import duty imposed by the US in India were discussed.
