General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma yesterday called Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to convey the prevailing security scenario and recent developments to the Line of Control (LOC) and other border areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lieutenant General Sharma was accompanied by Lieutenant General Prashant Srivastava, General Officer Commanding 15 Corps.
The Chief Minister said, “Our army is doing a commendable job in defense of the nation.”
