Coleen Nolan has opened up for the first time about her own cancer scare during Monday’s Loose Women.

The ITV star said she found a “tiny bit of skin” on her shoulder, which “wasn’t annoying” but wouldn’t go.

After a visit to the dermatologist, Coleen was told she had a form of skin cancer and would need to start treatment straight away.

Speaking to her co-stars, Coleen explained if cream didn’t work, she would need to have the skin cut out.

Coleen’s family has a history of cancer and more recently, her sister Linda shared an update on her own diagnosis.

Linda, who was first diagnosed nearly 20 years ago, has been diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour.

Coleen and Linda’s sister Bernie also died from cancer 10 years ago.

Their sibling Anne Nolan has also battled the deadly disease.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
