Patna, November 9 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BJP’s star campaigner Yogi Adityanath addressed a huge public meeting in Sikti assembly constituency of Araria district, where he launched a scathing attack on the Congress and RJD.
Describing RJD’s rule as Jungle Raj, Yogi said that more than 70 massacres took place during that period.
He warned the public that if Congress and RJD return to power, Bihar may again go back to the era of crime and anarchy.
CM Yogi said that after the formation of NDA government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar in 2005, Bihar started on a new path of development.
Today, roads, electricity and other facilities have reached every village, he said – a state that was once mired in fear and darkness is now witnessing rapid change.
UP CM said that only NDA government can develop Bihar.
Referring to the welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the central government is giving free ration to 80 crore poor, whereas the work of Congress and RJD has been limited to corruption and brokerage.
CM Yogi said that there is a legacy of welfare and development of the poor under the leadership of PM Modi.
Taking aim at the opposition, he said that Congress and RJD used to deny the existence of Lord Ram and when Ram does not exist then how can Goddess Janaki exist.
He accused the opposition of repeatedly opposing the Ram Mandir movement.
CM Yogi said that Congress claimed that Ram temple would never be built, RJD stopped Ram Rath Yatra and Samajwadi Party opened fire on Ram devotees in Uttar Pradesh.
“But we said — ‘Ram Lalla, hum aayenge, aur mandir wahin banayenge’ — and today a grand Ram Temple stands in Ayodhya,” he said, adding that now Lord Shri Ram, Mother Janaki, Lakshman and Bajrangbali are enshrined there.
He also said that the international airport in Ayodhya has been named after Maharishi Valmiki.
CM Yogi said that Congress and RJD have repeatedly insulted the faith of the country and are now again trying to bring instability in Bihar.
He said that the NDA government has brought major reforms in education, employment and infrastructure.
Concluding his address, CM Yogi appealed to the voters to choose wisely in this election.
He said, “If Bihar has to progress, people should elect a government committed to development and not one representing misgovernance and anarchy.”
