Bhubaneswar, 19 September (IANS) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a high-level review meeting before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Odisha on 29 September.
According to an official statement, PM Modi will visit Odisha on September 27, which will be to participate in the national level “Seva Parv” program at Rangeilunda in Barhampur.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several people-focused projects and will take new initiatives to the nation. CM Maji presided over a high-level preliminary meeting held at Public Service Bhawan here on Friday.
The Chief Minister reviewed security, logistic planning and departmental coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the Prime Minister’s program.
He instructed the officers and secretaries of various departments to ensure safety, logistics, public participation and coordination between the departments, so that the program is successfully organized and memorable.
He also instructed the officials to ensure PM Modi’s visit and participation for the success of the program in Berhampur.
The Prime Minister is going to come to participate in the service parva on 11 September on September 11 on September 11, where he will inaugurate and dedicate several development projects to the nation.
In particular, these projects include the capacity expansion of eight IITs, doubling of Koraaput-Baguda and Manabar-Koraaput-Gorapur railway lines and inauguration of Sambalpur-Sarla flyover. The Prime Minister will also launch indigenously developed 4G network services of BSNL across India.
In addition, PM Modi will announce the upgradation of MKCG and Vimsar Medical Colleges in global-standard super-specialty institutions and will inaugurate a National Skill Development Program.
Under the Antiodaya Housing Scheme, financial assistance will be provided to 50,000 beneficiaries along with the launch of several other developmental programs.
Chief Minister Mangi also gave valuable advice to all departments including Odisha police, health, electricity, water supply and local administration, so that the event can be worked in coordination to make the event memorable and phenomenon-free.
The coordination between all departments was also discussed to ensure the uninterrupted execution of the Prime Minister’s visit, including their travel route, arrival and departure system, deployment of security forces, preparations for the site, healthcare, police, water and power supply, and local administration.
The Chief Minister advised that all necessary measures would be taken to organize the Prime Minister’s program successfully and make it a memorable event.
