The loyalists must try to discover the identities of the traitors and oust them through a series of roundtable votes. Meanwhile, the traitors must try to hide their identities while regularly “killing” believers.
Bonuses accumulated through various “challenges” are awarded to the surviving traitors at the end of the game, or to the remaining true believers if all traitors have been dug out.
Winkelmann also revealed that the upcoming series will have a twist, with “new content” to be revealed in the first episode.
