Christopher Nolan: Director Oppenheimer to be knighted

Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan is set to be knighted, documents released by the government reveal.

His wife, film producer Emma Thomas, will be knighted.

British filmmaker Nolan won the best director Oscar this month for the biopic “Oppenheimer,” which also won best picture and swept the awards season.

He has previously been nominated for six Academy Awards.
