Chris Kamara Has opened up about his battle with speech apraxia in an exclusive interview with Independent But Pride of Britain Award,
The former footballer admitted his diagnosis left him feeling “unstable”, as he encouraged anyone else struggling to find support.
Speaking at the red carpet event on Monday (October 20), the football analyst fought back tears as he opened up about his diagnosis.
He said: “I’ve been down a lot, I get emotional talking about it, but the mind is a funny thing, there are little voices in your head that tell you you’re no good, don’t listen to them at all.”
