Has been detained to remove children France Under the head of Sir Kire Stmper, one-one-out migrant swap deal, Charity Cassworkers say.
Two 17 -year -old children, who traveled dangerous for the UK on small boats, were sent to support the Gatvic Detains Welfare Group. asylum seekers Held in Brooke House Immigration Center in Gatvik,
Boys taken out Imprisonment In recent times, concerns were raised, but the intentions of exile were reported, they were informed that there was evidence near the house office that he had claimed asylum in the UK before he was “present in or associated with France”.
Letters have been given to the migrants detained under the deal – similar to notices given under Rwanda exile of conservatives. Around 35 people are already in custody of immigration in Gatvik and are placed back on exile flights in France.
Children are now under the care of West Sussex County Council, Independent Understands The council will not comment on personal matters.
Support activists believe that other lone shelter children are still being detained for exile in France, and in a case, they were forced to share rooms with an adult.
All the people detained to remove France are male and a mixture of nationalities including Somalian, Irani, Afghan, Sudani, Irritria, Iraqi, Libya and Syria.
Charity workers expressed concern about lack of access to legal advice. Under the UK-France scheme, the shelter seekers, identified for exile, are given only seven days to challenge the notice handed over by the house office. This gives them very little time to talk to a lawyer and respond to the notice, some shelter seekers are already missing the time limit.
Under the agreement between Sir Kir and French President Emmanuel Macron, people traveling to the UK on a small boat will be sent back to France in exchange for shelter seekers from France.
The migrants of France who want to come to the UK can apply online for the new legal route, and the house office will then take a decision. They should supply copies of ID documents, such as passports, which some migrants do not have. But so far no one has been transferred under the scheme.
Hannah Carbi, senior advocacy coordinator of the Charity Gatvic Detains Welfare Group, said she was “extremely concerned” about the good and screening of people being detained.
He said: “Already, we have heard and directly supported from others, many under -18 -year -old children have been illegally detained and intentions are served with notice of letters.
“The people we have talked to with so far are already being psychologically affected by the journey that they have tolerated, and due to being in the prison environment, it is difficult to eat and sleep, not knowing how long they will stay there and fear that they may be taken back to France.
“We see people falling through the cracks of safety measures, which are to prevent the under -18 from being illegally detained, or to identify victims of torture and support adequate support, people who are exploited on their journey or by modern slavery victims. We are very concerned.
Charity Care4calais CEO Steve Smith said that “gruby treaty was making refugees inhuman to the extent where they could be traded like cargo”.
He said: “What we are seeing is an aggressive form, which is being done at a break -off speed and people are refusing to reach justice.
“There is no doubt that mistakes are being made with an operation in this way. We know that children have already been detained under this deal, and we are deeply concerned that more custody will be taken. It seems unavoidable that some will be forcibly removed and denied that the safety will be denied.”
A home office source said that each case is assessed individually, in which the weaknesses of the refuge seekers are taken into consideration. He said that the UK-France pilot operates in accordance with all legal obligations.
