Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inspected the Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Memorial Park under construction on Nehru Road in Patna. During this period, the chief minister took stock of the construction work and directed the officials to complete the park work by November 11, ahead of Maulana Azad’s birth anniversary. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that information about Maulana Azad’s contribution to the freedom struggle, his personality and contribution should also be mentioned on the stone slab in the park. The Chief Minister also directed that the roads behind the park be repaired so that people coming there do not face any inconvenience. Later, the chief minister also visited Nehru Park and inspected the arrangements there. He emphasized the cleanliness and maintenance of the park. After the inspection, the Chief Minister also visited the site of the statue of Lord Birsa Munda at Harding Road and inspected the arrangements there.
