Nava Raipur, November 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a grand state festival in Nava Raipur on Saturday to mark the silver jubilee of the state formation of Chhattisgarh.
During the programme, he inaugurated various development projects worth Rs 14,300 crore aimed at boosting the state’s infrastructure, housing, energy and rural development.
A large number of people gathered in this program, who expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and said that the schemes of the Central Government including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have played an important role in improving the quality of life of the common citizens.
The attendees shared their views while interacting with IANS:
Turang Kumar Sahu said that the projects inaugurated by PM Modi will prove to be a milestone for rural development.
He said, “We are from rural areas and people are getting permanent houses under the PM Awas Yojana. The Prime Minister’s dream of a developed India by 2047 will already be achieved.”
Arun Kumar Sahu said that PM Modi continuously brings new initiatives in Chhattisgarh.
“The launch of several important projects today will give a new impetus to the development of the state,” he said.
Tajinder Kanojia said that PM Modi is realizing the dream of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
“By inaugurating projects worth Rs 14,300 crore, he has given a huge gift to the people of the state. Under the PM Awas Yojana, even the poorest of the poor now have access to permanent homes, which was unimaginable earlier,” he said.
Toran Yadav described this day as a moment of pride for the state. He said, “The schemes of the Central Government are now reaching the grassroots level. Under the leadership of PM Modi, India is progressing rapidly and the dream of ‘Developed India 2047’ is coming true.”
Expressing his happiness, Devanand Banjare said that PM Awas Yojana changed his life, turning his dream of a permanent house into reality.
Welcoming PM Modi’s visit, Neelkanth Yadav said that the projects have brought relief and development to the people.
He said, “Villages are benefiting from government schemes and all sections of the society are getting benefits from it.”
Bharat Tounsi while appreciating the program said that various central schemes like Kisan Samman Nidhi and Solar Energy Initiative are providing substantial benefits to the people.
