Openai has introduced a new update for Chatgpt’s memory feature, under which the chatbot will be able to remember everything you have mentioned. The company announced this feature earlier this week, stating that Bot would take advantage of users “preferences and interests, which is to make it even more useful for writing, advice, learning and beyond”.
In addition to the memories saved, Chatgpt can also refer to your previous chat to give reactions that feel more relevant and useful.
“New conversations naturally create what it already knows about you, the interaction feels smooth and uniquely,” the company Said,
Openai CEO Sam Altman took the X (East Twitter) to inform about the new feature, stating that it can help the chatbot to provide a better-individual experience.
“This is a surprisingly great feature imo, and something indicates that we are excited: the AI system that you know on your life, and become extremely useful and personal,” Mr. Altman wrote.
He said, “You can definitely get out of it, or choose memory together. And if you want to have a conversation, you can use temporary chats.”

Most users expressed concern over the ability of chatbott that maintains all data and maintain its potential misuse.
“What are the implications of the company to know about millions of people (Arabs?)?” When asked by a user, while the other said: “Yay can only be trusted with this information.”
One third remarked: “Like my wife, the slapping can now miss something that I said 1,000 days ago.”

Chatgpt makes people alone
A joint study conducted by Openai and MIT Media Lab found recently that Chatgpt could make its most frequent users more lonely. While the feelings of loneliness and social isolation are often affected by various factors, the study writers concluded that the participants who had more with “bonded” chats were alone than others and were more likely to rely.
Although technology is still in its newborn stage, researchers said that the study can help start interaction about its full effect on mental health of users.
