A shameful incident took place on the Shaheed Road in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A girl on a scooter was molested by a young man on a bicycle. The incident occurred at around 10.15pm on Sunday when the victim was returning home from the office. Video of the incident went viral on social media. In the video, a young man on a bicycle can be seen chasing the girl in the middle of the road and trying to touch her.
It is understood that the victim, Sushant, was engaged in private work in the Golf City area. She lives in LDA colony in Lucknow. She came home from the office on Sunday evening. As soon as she arrived at Shaheed Path near Lulu Mall, a strange young man on a bicycle started chasing her.
The young man tried to seriously touch the moving bicycle. During this time, another cyclist coming from behind recorded the incident on his mobile phone and the video went viral on social media.

After the incident, the victim lodged a complaint regarding the entire incident with the Bijnor police station in Lucknow. The victim stated in her complaint that during the incident, the young man molested her and attempted to touch her severely. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the police immediately took action. The police have started investigating the matter.
Search for defendant started based on bicycle number
Based on the victim’s complaint, police have begun identifying the alleged cyclist. He is being traced based on his bike number. Police said the accused would be arrested soon.
