Charlie Sheen Recalls being passed over for the lead role in born on 4th julyCalled the rejection a “betrayal”.

“I’m like, ‘No, what’s happening?’ He says, ‘cruising born on the fourth,” Sheen continued. “I love that Emilio thought I needed to sit down to get the news, he thought it would make me swoon. I mean, what are we doing here? This is a film.”

Sheen said he later met Stone at a bar and addressed the incident for the first time.
