In the final scene of the series, Dale Bowen, Allen and Seebohm tearfully embraced after finding themselves through the course after a grueling final challenge. On the show, the remaining contestants faced a simulated hostage situation that tested their emotional limits over an intense 12 hours.
The mammoth task saw Australian former Olympic swimmer Mark Horton and World Cup-winning former rugby player Ben Cohen withdraw, leaving only three celebrities to continue competing.

After completing the task, the instructor evaluated the three remaining candidates to determine who had successfully completed the SAS selection process. Head coach Billy Billingham said in announcing the results: “Just because you stand at the finish line, it doesn’t mean you have passed the course. You chose to enter our arena.” He then added: “This is a rare moment to say congratulations to all three of you, you have passed the course.”
