TV presenter Roman Kemp And her sister Harlemoon Kemp has won Celebrity Race Across the World.

The pair reached the finish line just two minutes ahead of TV presenter and DJ Tyler West and actor and singer Molly Rainford, who finished as runners-up.

Broadcaster Anita Rani and her father Bal Finished in third place after six hours.

Derry Girls actor Dylan Llewellyn and his mother Jackie decided to leave the race at the beginning of the episode due to the limited budget.

As the winning pair crossed the finish line, Roman said, “We did it”, before Harlemoon added: “I don’t understand why we came first, let’s write our names down before we get here to make sure it’s true.”

His victory came after a 4×4 journey, boat ride and rock walk, covering 5,900 km (3,666 mi). beyond the unknown Caribbean and Pacific coast of Central America.

Roman further said that the trip was “the most adrenaline, the most emotion I’ve ever felt”.

Harlemoon added: “I could hear the sound of rocks breaking behind me where they were very close. I’ve never run like that in my entire life.”

As West and Rainford watched the winning pair write their names in the guestbook, West said he was “proud” despite not winning, adding: “The fact that we were here, 20 meters away and if the engine hadn’t broken down, we would have been first on that list, I’m not worried, that’s life isn’t it?”

Becoming emotional, Rainford said: “I think they’re a mixture of tears of joy, just pure shock and pride.”

As she and her father finished hours later, the Queen commented: “Oh third, but still wonderful father, same day…

“We are very proud of ourselves, well done dad, you are amazing dad, do you know that?”

In this year’s Celebrity Race Across the World, teams started from the Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres, just off the easternmost point of Mexico, and then traveled to the Peninsula de la Guajira, seen as the gateway to South America.

They had to reach the finish line without access to grand transportation, smartphones or bank cards, instead relying on a limited budget, local transportation and their own resourcefulness as well as the kindness of strangers.
