Although the agenda of the CEC meeting with BLOs has not been announced, sources said on Friday that Kumar is likely to meet a section of officials to gauge their mood before the start of the special intensive revision (SIR) drive of voter lists in the state.
Official sources said there are over 45,000 BLOs across the state and Kumar will address a gathering of around 700 of them at the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) auditorium at 3 pm on Monday.
BLOs have a major role in the SIR exercise as they will go door-to-door and distribute and collect Enumeration Forms (EFs) from voters.
