CDS Anil Chauhan visits North and Western Command Headquarters; Strategic review and operational assessment conducts post-operation syndor

According to the official statement of the Ministry of Defense, Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan visited the Northern Command of the Indian Army in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir and Western Command, Haryana on Sunday.

He interacted with the army commanders, Lt Gen Pratik Sharma and Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katyer and senior employee officer who was actively involved in the plan and execution of Operation Sindoor.

During the journey, he made a strategic review and operational evaluation in northern and western theaters.

In Udhampur, the CDS was informed on the success of the Northern Army in neutralizing the terrorist network, which was a protest taken to protect their military property and civilian population during adverse assets and operation vermilion supporting terror.

He was informed about the efforts of rehabilitation of citizens of the border areas of the Northern Army, which were targeted by the opponent.

The Commander of the Northern Army gave an update on the continuous operation and logistics preparations of the Northern Army and assured the CD of his commitment in protecting the boundaries, while began an all-out effort to eliminate terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

In the Chandimandir, during Operation Sindoor, a comprehensive brief western army commander was given on the kinetic and non-kneetic punitive response. A detailed observation of the major results of the operational environment, defense preparations and operations, underlining the safety position prevalent with the Western borders, was provided.

According to the official statement, inputs on technical infusion and increased logistics capacity, contributing to high operating efficiency, contributing to real -time status awareness, and strengthening the military capacity of the Western Army were also highlighted.

He motivated them to help them in rehabilitation of citizens who were targeted by the opponent.

The CDS concluded the journey, expressing his deep praise for exemplary conduct and successful execution of military operations, which confirmed the country’s trust in its armed forces.
