New Delhi, 22 August: Parliament Safety Sources said that a security violation in Parliament was thwarted on Friday morning when alert security personnel entered an intruder to an intruder, which had entered the premises by climbing a tree and scaling the wall.

On December 13, 2001, the old building of Parliament was attacked by terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba (Late) and Jai-e-Mohammed (Gem). Fourteen people including Fivor terrorists were killed in the attack.
