Carney to meet the first nation on major projects law today

Ottawa – Prime Minister Mark Carney will meet the laws of controversial major projects of his government along with the leaders of the first nation today.

His rights were not respected by Rush to carry forward the building Canada Act through Parliament in June, when his rights were not respected in June.

The law allows the cabinet to give federal approval for large industrial projects such as mines, ports and pipelines bypassing existing laws.

A agenda for today’s meeting shared with the Canadian press show, Carney will provide initial comments for 10 minutes in the morning, followed by the national head of the Legislative Assembly of the first nation.

Carney does not appear on the agenda again later in the afternoon, where he will sit with a handful of ministers for an hour for a panel, which will be titled “Working Together”, followed by his concluding comment.

Many first nation leaders said that they have less expectations for the meeting on Wednesday and are warning that it should not be seen as necessary complete and fair consultation on major projects.
