Canadian Zach Edey has withdrawn himself from the 2023 NBA Draft and will return to Purdue for his senior season this fall.

Edey, the reigning NCAA men’s basketball player of the year, announced his decision on social media Wednesday, hours before the deadline to withdraw from the draft.

The Toronto native will return to a Boilermakers team with unfinished business, after a stunning upset by No. 16-seed Farleigh Dickenson in the first round of the March Madness tournament.
