Can we ask people to boycott the national census: Kataka on BJP’s call in Shun Cast Survey

Bengaluru, September 30 (IANS) responded to a boycott call by BJP leaders about the socio-economic and academic survey, known as a caste census, which the Congress-led government launched by the Congress-led government in Karnataka, the state Home Minister. Parmeshwada said, “What will happen, what will happen that we will not ask to participate in the centers.”

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, God said, “There will be natural confusion about caste census survey. I request BJP leaders not to add this. Census will be conducted by the Center in 2026.

“At that level, can we ask people not to participate in the census?” God asked.

“Where is misuse in this calculation? It will reveal the plight of communities. We have conducted a socio-economic and educational survey. If we are asked not to find out the social and economic situation of the people, does this argument have any meaning?” he adds.

The caste census practice conducted by the state government, God explained, is clearly a study of educational and social conditions.

“Only if we know that the actual situation of people we can frame policies and bring them into the mainstream,” he said.

When asked about the deadline, God said, “The deadline is fixed by 7 October. My district has 7.5 lakh houses, for example, 7.5 lakh houses, and about 2 lakh houses have already been covered within four days. The target will be completed by 7 October.”

Talking about the delay in the recruitments, God said, “Recruitment to government posts was delayed due to internal reservation. In this context, other departments have decided to run a one -time recruitment campaign for those who miss opportunities in the last three years.

“What is the age limit for police constables and sub-inspectors? We have collected information from other states. In some states, the age limit is up to 33 years, while in others it has been fixed in 27 or 30 years. We are discussing the determination of the age limit. Within a week, we will provide a permanent solution for cadre and recruitment. Parmeshwar said that the age limit will be permanent in the police department.

Meanwhile, Vijayendra’s Karnataka BJP president and MLA said that the state unit of the party is not against the census of the caste, but is opposed to the “politics of politics being done” on the issue by the Siddhamaiah -led government.

She is playing chess game in the name of caste census, using the caste census on the state government as a political equipment. They are trying to divide Hindu society. Does the state government also have the right for this? ,
