The Delhi Metro Blue Line will run at a reduced speed today. This happened due to theft of the cable between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has issued a statement in this regard.
DMRC said the issue of theft of Blue Line cable between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar will be resolved only after the night operations are over. Trains are running slowly so there will be delays in service. Passengers are advised to plan their itinerary accordingly.
Due to the slow speed, people have to wait for a long time on the blue line. It is also known as the busiest route of Delhi Metro.
