Jammu, July 19: More than a dozen passengers were injured on Saturday morning, when a bus traveling from Jammu from Udhampur dropped out of the road near Jhajjar Kotli.
Eyewitnesses said that the bus (JK02AT 2279) got away from the road, causing the vehicle to be badly damaged. Police and emergency teams reached the spot and transferred the injured to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
Officials said that many injured are in critical condition. The preliminary investigation indicates the excessiveness as the cause of the accident.
The police have registered a case and started further investigation. (KNS)
