Luxury carmaker BMW has been focusing on producing premium cars in the Indian market. Now, the brand has launched the 7 series of protective vehicles in the country under the CBU route, which offers a range of robust safety features and build quality.

This vehicle was developed in limited quantities and is ideal for all high-class VIPs who require extra protection when traveling in their vehicle.

What’s so special about the BMW 7 Series Protective Sedan?

The newly launched model is entirely based on the existing 7 Series, with the same design elements and on-road appearance. However, most major changes or upgrades are made in-house. It’s packed with crazy cutting-edge technology, making it the perfect sedan to fight any deadly attack.

According to details shared by BMW, the 7 Series Protection sedan uses a self-supporting body structure made of armored steel. Not only does it provide excellent security against bullets, explosives and ballistic missiles, but it also ensures proper protection against any type of chemical attack.

To make it more advanced in unexpected situations, the vehicle is able to travel 30 kilometers with a flat tire at an average speed of 80 km/h. In addition to this, the sedan is equipped with emergency exits through all four doors, allowing all passengers to escape from dangerous situations.

Engine and power

Under the hood, the newly released boss sedan is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a maximum power of 522 horsepower and a torque of 750 Nm. It’s the same unit that powers the regular 7 Series.

It comes with all-wheel drive and steering at the rear. It can accelerate from 0 – 100 mph in just 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 210 km/h.
