Vienna:
A Bulgarian cruise ship crashed into the concrete wall of a Danube lock in the northern Austrian town of Arschach an der Danube at night, injuring 11 people, local police said on Saturday.
A police spokesman in the nearby town of Everding said the ship was bound for the Austrian city of Linz from Bavaria, Germany, with about 160 passengers on board.
The spokesman said 11 injured people were taken to hospital after the accident and the ship was able to move on.
The spokesman said it was unclear how serious the injury was.
Local media said six others suffered minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
