Budgam, July 17, KDC: Continuing its community outreach efforts, the Budgam police provided the facility of meeting of a Police Community Participation Group (PCPG) at Police Station Charor e Sheri.
The meeting was chaired by the show, the show in charge, Dy.SP (Prob.) Mrs. Sakshi Sharma- JKP and respectable citizens, shopkeepers, members of the committee and other stakeholders participated.
The participants raised various public and policing concerns, in which the Chairman officer assured timely prevention. Issues related to other departments will be taken along with the officials concerned, while police related matters will be addressed on priority, the participants were assured.
Addressing the participants, the Chairman officer urged to strengthen the police relations and also cooperated in eliminating all types of crimes from the society to create a peaceful and crime -free environment in the area. Participants were emphasized to cooperate with the police in identifying national and anti -social elements trying to maintain law and order in the region and try to disrupt peaceful environment.
The meeting concluded with a common commitment to strengthen police-public cooperation for a safe and drug-free society. (KDC)
