The late Queen’s preferences were remarkably simple, especially when it came to food, even breakfast.

One of his favorite morning rituals was unveiled in the book “Dinner at Buckingham Palace”, drawn from the diaries and personal recollections of royal attendant Charles Olive. One quote reads: “Every day starts with an egg, and they’re also eaten for tea – with crumpets, if you’re Prince Charles.

“The Queen prefers brown eggs, believing they taste better. Her great-grandmother Queen Victoria used to eat boiled eggs served in golden egg cups with a golden spoon.”

According to House & Garden, the late queen started her day in a low-key way, starting with Earl Gray tea — without milk and sugar — served with biscuits, which she enjoyed with her Corgis.

She then ate her main breakfast in her private dining room at Buckingham Palace; Cereal, yogurt, toast and jam are said to have been the emperor’s favourites.

As for the late queen’s other breakfast preferences, she sometimes enjoyed kippers, which she used to eat with her late sister Princess Margaret as children.

Dinner at Buckingham Palace further states: “Kippers, in many straightforward variations, have remained a favorite of the Queen ever since – for breakfast, as a savory or late-night dinner. The Queen is also fond of smoked haddock.” Breakfast dish.”

Asked what she usually eats for dinner, she revealed: “For main courses she likes game, Gaelic steak, things like fillet steak with mushroom whiskey sauce, especially if we make it with venison. Let’s do it together.

“For the first course she loved the Gleneagles pâté, which is smoked salmon, trout and mackerel. She loved using ingredients from the estate and so if we had Balmoral’s salmon from the River Dee, she would have it, it was in them was one of his favourites.”

He added: “We used a variety of cuisine, mainly British and French food. We cooked a lot of traditional French food like halibut on a bed of spinach with Mornay sauce.”

According to The Independent, the Queen is said to love Balmoral’s strawberries and white peaches grown at Windsor Castle for dessert. He also had a soft spot for chocolate.

She said, “It’s like a mother coming home with her son or grandson. If Prince William was coming for tea it would be chocolate biscuit cake. He loved that.”
