The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday confirmed that Sub Inspector MD IMTEYAZ lost his life during a cross -border firing by Pakistan along with the international border in the RS Pura region of Jammu.
In a post on X, BSF said, “DG BSF and all rank BSF Sub Inspector MD Ematez salutes the highest sacrifice made by BSF Deputy -Inspector MD Imtoz in service to the nation on 10 May 2025, during the cross border firing by Pakistan, the RS Puraia with the International Border during the cross border firing, Purari Parivada with the bear Is.”
The BSF also stated that a wreath ceremony with full respect will be held on 11 May at Frontier Headquarters Jammu, Palora.

India started Operation Sindoor on 7 May in response to a disgusting terrorist attack in Pahgam on 22 April. 26 people were killed in the terrorist attack.
