BSF recurs two Pakistani drones along the Punjab border

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday recovered two Pakistani drones from different places along the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab, adding the increasing number of unmanned air vehicles along the international border.

According to a release, BSF added two Pakistani drones to its seizure, with recovery in the border area of ​​district Gurdaspur and Amritsar.

“Based on an input, a discovery operation by BSF soldiers in collaboration with the Punjab Police resulted in a recovery of 01 drones (DJI Mavik 3 Classic) in this morning, which is from Shahur Kalan in Gurdaspur, in a nearby field area,” BSF said in its release.

The BSF said that at around 09:45 pm on Thursday, BSF soldiers recovered another DJI Mavik 3 classic drones from a farming ground adjacent to Bhai Rajputana village in Amritsar district.

These drones have been estimated to crash due to technical intervention of the counterichers deployed on the border.

Strong technical counselors were deployed along the border, and the hardworking efforts of the BSF with the Punjab Police successfully threw these illegal drone infiltration efforts from across the border.

Earlier on April 24, in a series of successful joint operations, BSF and Punjab Police recovered weapons, drugs and drones along the Punjab border after specific intelligence input from BSF sources.

In the first operation near Dok village in Amritsar district, a damaged DJI Mavik 3 classic drone was recovered from a pistol and a magazine from a chopped ground.

In another operation near Van village in Taran Taran district, a packet of suspected heroin (550 grams) was recovered.

Later in the day, a third operation recovered another damaged DJI Mavik 3 classic drone near Ratchhurd, Amritsar.
