The 41-year-old superstar shared a lengthy social media update on Tuesday in which she said she was ‘extremely sensitive to bullying’ and also spoke of ‘enemies in her life’.
Posting the clip on Instagram, in which a young girl is baking with two older girls who crack eggs on her forehead, the Toxic hitmaker explained when watching the video without sound the clip has a ‘darker effect’.
‘Similar things have been done to me,’ she added.
The mum-of-two wrote in full: ‘I’m not complaining about this video… it’s actually really cute but with no sound it has a different effect!!!
‘For me, it feels darker… similar things have been done to me so I look at this with different eyes!!!’
Britney added: ‘Most of my inner conflict with people is knowing the enemy is right in front of me but I kept them because I loved them!!!
‘I’m extremely sensitive to anybody laughing at someone or bullying in any way!!!
‘There’s so much I’ve kept private that’s gone on with me personally and maybe one day I can let people know … until then, there’s 3 sides to every story!!!’
The A-lister concluded: ‘Your side, my side and the truth!!! The child within is the trust, the girl in the middle is the truth …. watch it NOW with no sound!!!’
It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Britney, who confirmed her split from husband Sam Asghari in August.
The pair were married for 14 months before deciding to part ways, although they had been together since 2016.
Britney has been posting concerning Instagram messages and also got herself some new tattoos in the wake of the breakup.
