A British woman is found dead on a beach Thailand Famous for hosting the full moon parties.
Thai police 54 -year -old woman washed ashes on a beach call out Tuesday morning in southern Thailand. Officials said there were no signs of attack on his body.
Police Lieutenant Pongnafat Somboon of Koh Fangan Police Station said: “An X-ray of the victim’s body found a large amount of sand and water in her lungs.
“We believe that the cause of death was sinking. We will call the British Embassy to inform his relatives.
“We don’t believe that anything is suspicious but CCTV images will be investigated to ensure that the death was accidental.”
The woman was taken to Koh Fangan Hospital for the post -mortem examination.
Local media said that the woman was drinking alcohol on Monday night and floating on a beach near her bungalow.
The Thai newspaper Matikan reported that the woman was due to the island’s full moon party exiting her residence on June 11.
He was discovered by a local rural Therapong while he was roaming the area at 6.30 am on Tuesday.
According to the newspaper, the authorities inspected his room and found his passport and luggage still there.
Full moon party is all-night beach meetings that take place every month every month or before or after every full moon. Thousands of backpackers attend the event.
