British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the UK firmly supports the security of Israel and its citizens following the Iranian missile attack.
A spokesman for Starmer’s office said Prime Minister Kiir spoke with Netanyahu on Tuesday and the two leaders discussed the deteriorating situation in the Middle East. Starmer strongly condemned Iran’s attack on Israel.
Starmer also spoke to Jordan’s King Abdullah, who stressed the urgent need for a ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza. The Prime Minister said he would work closely with partners to make every effort to de-escalate tensions and find a diplomatic solution, the spokesman said.
