Britain’s oldest polar bear Victoria died at the age of 28.
Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (Rzss) decided to emanate in his Highland Wildlife Park after experienceing her age -related health issues at her Highland Wildlife Park near Kingusi.
The weights determined that the most human course of action was euthanasia after considering the quality of life and overall goodness of Victoria.

RZSS CEO David Field said: “Victoria was an excellent mother and has been a pleasure for our dedicated teams and hundreds of thousands of visitors to bring her two big, healthy boys who have made a flock to see the family, and learn more about the dangers in the forest.
Victoria was euthanised on Tuesday morning.
RzSS stated that only a small percentage of polar bears in the wild live in 18 past and Victoria’s age is “described as a will for world class care that he received from his keeper and veterinary team.”
