bridgeton Star Yerin Ha praises the latest installment regency romance “So magical” and “a true Cinderella story.”
This popular period drama is based on the book series by Julia Quinn and tells the story of bridgerton family Pursue love.
Ha, a 28-year-old Australian actress, plays Sophie Baek in Season 4, the love interest of Benedict, the middle son of Bridgerton played by Luke Thompson.
Ha shared her excitement in an interview with the Press Association, saying: “I remember how everyone reacted to the scene at the reading. It was amazing.”
“I remember reading it after the first part, trying to put the pieces together.”
She added: “The writing team did a fantastic job. I hope people are happy.”
Ha plays a maid who disguises herself as a member of high society to infiltrate a costume party, where she meets Benedict Bridgerton.
As the clock strikes midnight, Ha’s character hurries off, leaving behind only a glove.
this bad behavior The actress, who is new to the show, describes the experience as a Cinderella story, both for her character and herself as an actor. “It was like a Cinderella story to me, which was great,” she said. “I think it really taught me that maybe I was actually limiting my dreams and limiting the roles I could play.”
Ha said playing her character was a “real gift,” adding: “Through Sophie, I learned that you can actually dream big, and I learned so much from playing her and from her.”
Ha stars with Thompson, 37, in the latest season, playing the bohemian son of a viscount.
Speaking of their on-screen romance, Thompson told PA: “I think Benedict was totally challenged by Sophie and I think she was a bit unsettling to him.”
thompson has appeared in bridgeton Since premiering on Netflix in 2020, he added: “I think it’s interesting that[Sophie]actually kind of forced herself to overcome her flaws because you would think that would be a real obstacle to love.

The Scottish actress, who will take center stage as the main villain, said it was a “pleasure” to work on the show.
“There’s a very complicated backstory to why (her character) becomes like this,” Liang told PA.
She added: “She was widowed twice so she was a bit on her own, she was very independent but not by choice.
“She’s desperate, but she’s surviving, and that really runs through society, so she’s trying to maintain her reputation while also having this dark secret that she can’t reveal.
“There’s a lot at stake for her.”
Four episodes of Bridgerton Season 4 were released on Netflix on January 29.
Four additional episodes will be released on the streaming service on February 26.
