Brian Johnson raises alarm on India’s air pollution in new videos

Arun Jain, 10/04/2025

American entrepreneur Brian Johnson, who was known for his age-ulat projects, loved his time in India when he first visited the country in December last year. But he could not wrap his head around one thing: why Indian leaders have not declared air pollution national emergency.

He has now attracted attention to India’s high level of air pollution. Mr. Johnson said that he was worried about the country’s air quality and clear public apathy towards it.

Johnson wrote on X (East Twitter), “I loved living in India for the first time.”

Mr. Johnson also questioned the lack of urgency from the Indian authorities. “I am uncertain why the leaders of India do not make air quality national emergency,” he wrote.

Mr. Johnson said, “One of our biggest concerns in India is the air quality. I think they have the worst air quality in the whole world right now, and it is interesting that no one is wearing masks.” He said, “It is terrible, it is as in the middle of the fire.”

During his journey, he did an air purifier with him and often wore a mask.
