We know everything here till now:
On July 4, 2025, a terrible flash flood in Central Texas killed at least 13 people and 23 girls went missing from a Christian summer camp.
Floods located near Llano River in Kimble County, near Texas, hit Camp Gracewood.
Missing girls, aged 10 to 14, were participating in a biblical retreat when suddenly flash floods were swept away by the cabin on the banks of their river during the night.
The floods were triggered by a serious storm system that dumped more than 10 inches of rain in a few hours, leading to rivers and low-lower areas rapidly and with a slight warning.
Emergency alerts were issued, but it is not clear whether the CMP employees received them on time or had enough procedures to vacate them.
Search and rescue operations are rejecting the area for people with helicopters, boats and K9 teams.
The family has gathered at a renovation center established in the junction, eagerly waiting for the news on his loved ones.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has declared an emergency situation and is demanding federal disaster aid.
Local churches and volunteers are providing shelter, supply and prayer aid to the affected people.
Officers are still working to identify the confirmed victims and are determining how the tragedy came out so soon.
Keep praying!
