BREAKING: FBI “discovers” one million new Epstein files in SDNY

I realize this is hard to believe, but I am simply reporting what is being claimed.

The FBI has apparently uncovered one million new Epstein files in the Southern District of New York office:

🚨 JUST IN: Federal agents have uncovered “more than a million” more Epstein files in the Southern District of New York.

The DOJ says they are being reviewed for release under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

I have personally confirmed that the post on X is genuine and from the authentic DOJ account.

See here:

The US Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the FBI have informed the Justice Department that they have disclosed more than one million documents potentially related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. DOJ has received these documents from the SDNY and FBI for review…

NY Post Turns out it was former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton’s team that allegedly “found” the files:

The investigation by U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton’s team risks a prolonged public scrutiny of the revelations, angering President Trump, who claims interest in the case amounts to a distraction from his accomplishments.

“DOJ has received these documents from the SDNY and the FBI to review for release in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, existing law, and judicial orders,” the Justice Department said.

The statement added, “We have attorneys working around the clock to review and make legally required corrections to protect victims, and we will release the documents as soon as possible.”

“Due to the sheer volume of material, this process may take several more weeks. The Department will continue to fully comply with federal law and President Trump’s directive to release the files.”

Trump, a former Epstein friend who tried to derail the transparency law before it was ultimately signed, expressed anger Tuesday about the massive attention given to the documents, saying, “Democrats, most Democrats and some bad Republicans, are demanding this.”

Trump said, “I don’t like the pictures being shown of Bill Clinton. I don’t like the pictures being shown of other people. I think it’s a terrible thing.”

“I think Bill Clinton is a big guy, he can handle it. But you probably have photos of other people who innocently met Jeffrey Epstein many years ago… and you ruin someone’s reputation.”

‘The timing couldn’t be worse’

The Justice Department on Tuesday requested federal prosecutors to volunteer during Christmas week to review the remaining files — despite Wednesday, Thursday and Friday being paid holidays.

“I know the timing couldn’t be worse,” a supervising prosecutor wrote to Miami U.S. Attorney’s Office staff on Tuesday, requesting help during the “next several days.”

“For some people the holidays are about to begin, but I know for others the holidays are about to end,” the email said. The eight-day Jewish festival of Hanukkah ended on Monday.

Trump has authorized Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Dec. 26 to count as federal holidays — allowing most feds to take paid time off to spend with their families.

That designation means that working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday may entitle some officers to double pay.

The solicitation for volunteers, first reported by CNN and confirmed to The Post by a Justice Department source, comes amid widespread coverage of the files already released.

The DOJ is reportedly working around the clock to process them:

They have now been handed over to the DOJ, who say their lawyers are reviewing them around the clock
