Brand Teases Nothing Ear 3 TWS Headphones Release

Nothing Ear 3 may be launching soon. While the release date and even the product remain a mystery, the UK-based company recently released a teaser on its social media channels hinting at the arrival of another new product. It is expected to be Nothing Ear 3. Nothing launched the Nothing Ear 1 in 2021, its first pair of true wireless stereo (TWS) headphones. Nothing Ear 2 launches in 2022. The Nothing Ear 3 earphones are expected to retain the transparent design of their predecessors.

The UK-based company released a video trailer on X on Wednesday. In the trailer, a frog jumps over a black beetle. Black Beetle is Nothing Ear 2’s mascot. The trailer hints at the arrival of the next generation of wireless headphones. The frog may be Ear 3’s mascot.

Nothing Ear 3 rumors have been swirling since November. It was previously speculated that they would be officially launched in January 2024.

Nothing started its journey in July 2021 by launching the Ear 1 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones with a transparent design, priced at Rs 100. 5,999. This premium pair of headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC) launched a follow-up, Nothing Ear 2, in March 2022.

The Nothing Ear 3 are expected to feature a number of upgrades over the Ear 2 earbuds. The latter is priced at Rs. India is 9,999.

Nothing Ear 2 features 11.6mm custom drivers and three AI-powered microphones inside each earpiece. They offer active noise cancellation and are said to eliminate up to 40dB of background noise. The headphones feature Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and support LHDC 5.0, AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs.

The earphones have an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, while the casing has an IP55 rating build. Each Nothing Ear 2 earphone comes with a 33mAh battery and a 485mAh battery in the charging case.
