Peel Regional Police is asking potential victims to come forward that they describe large -scale frauds, including a fake contracting company in Brampton, consisting of customers over $ 800,000.
According to the investigators, reports in relation to a business in the name of A&E contractors began to appear in July 2024, which was associated with Timothy Glen Carter. Police said that regular complaints about incomplete work developed in a comprehensive criminal investigation.
After nearly a year of inquiry, the detectives determined that the A&E contractors had no legitimate business attendance in the field. Police say the company lacked a registered corporate identity, it had no definite physical address, and could not be detected through standard business channels.
Officials believe that financial losses associated with fraud operation are more than $ 800,000, and Carters currently want more than $ 5,000 on a warrant for fraud.
Investigators suspect that additional victims may not have come forward yet.
