In a recent interview, filmmaker Boney Kapoor confirmed that Janhvi Kapoor has signed her second Telugu project. He revealed to iDream Media that she will star in an upcoming film directed by Buchi Babu Sana, along with Ram Charan.
Talking about this and her upcoming Telugu projects, Boney also talked about Janhvi’s first Telugu film ‘Koratala Siva’s Devara with Jr NTR’. Talking about it, he said, “My daughter is already shooting for a film with Jr NTR. She is loving every day she spends here. Soon, she will also be shooting for a film with Ram Charan. The two are Boy is doing a great job. She has seen a lot of Telugu films and she feels lucky to have worked with them. Hopefully these films will be successful and she will get more work. She will also be working with Surya soon Collaboration. My wife (Sridevi) performs in multiple languages and I want my daughter to do the same.”
Boney, who has shot several projects in Hyderabad, talks about how the city has changed over time. He also mentioned that he had considered buying a house there for Sridevi but now he found it emotionally challenging. “I shot 12 films in Hyderabad, which was a growing city at the time. When I came back a few years later, the whole city had changed. I used to drive around by myself, now I needed locals to guide me .I want to buy a house in Hyderabad for my wife as she works a lot here. I remember whenever we came here we would taste a lot of Andhra khaana (food). Now , I can’t bear it anymore,” he said.
Apart from a Telugu project with Jr NTR and Ram Charan and a Tamil film with Suriya, Janhvi will also be seen in Hindi films “Mr and Mrs Mahi” and “Ulajh”.
