New Canada says that on Thursday, bomb threats at six airports across the country stopped ground operations temporarily.
The agency said in a post on X, “This morning, new Canada was made aware of the bomb threats affecting the facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Admonton, Vinypeg, Calgary and Vancouver.”
It said that a ground stop was placed at airports and all employees are safe.
“We are collaborating with the authorities to address the situation and ensure the safety of all personnel and passengers,”
Reuters are reporting that the ground stop has been removed since then.
