A spokesperson of the force said: “It is sad that the police and fellow agencies searching the river for 13 -year -old Mylo Capilla in Ingalebi Barwick have found the body of a boy.
“While the formal identity is not yet, the parents of Mylo have been informed and they are supported by specially trained officers.
“All our ideas are with my family’s family and friends -with a broad community in this extremely difficult time.”
The Cleveland Police had earlier said that Mylo was believed to have gone to the river near Ramsay Garden with his friend and entered the water.
