B’Luru Police seized 1,486 kg of intoxicants, priced at Rs 81.21CR

Bengaluru, 8 October (IANS) Bangalore Police on Wednesday, according to a police department statement, has seized Rs 1,486 kg drugs and drugs worth Rs 81.21 crore and arrested 1,013 Indians and 35 foreign accused by 8 October 2025.

The statement mentions that a total of 711 cases have been booked in this regard. In the month of October 2025, in action against the drug, six accused were arrested and 15 kg MDMA, Hydro Ganja and opium oil were seized Rs 23.84 crore.

Other major cases include – the CCB Anti Narcotics Wing (ANW) team conducted a raid under the chairmanship of Manjappa Pai and secured drug paddlers on the borders of Parappana Aghara police station, and seized 1.39 kg MDMA Crystal and 2.03 kg opium, which is about Rs 4 crore.

A CCB anw wing team conducted two separate operations at the International Post Office in the border of KG Nagar Police Station and seized 7 kg of hydro cannabis, which cost a total of Rs 7.81 crore. Later 2 accused were detained.

The statement said that officials of the North East Division raided Golhalli village of the border of Kothanur police station, seized 4.81 kg MDMA worth Rs 12.03 crore.

In a joint operation by CCB, South, North-East Wing Officers and Dog Squad, the police have arrested six persons including two foreigners and seized drugs worth Rs 23.84 crore in various parts of Bengaluru.

An investigation into the recovery of drug substances from the international post office in the border of KG Nagar Police Station revealed that the accused persons purchased hydro cannabis through Crypto Mudra under fake names from Thailand and Germany. He bought narcotics named ‘Khachibbi Jeez “and” Khidoine’s Jeez “.

Sleiths has also highlighted the drug pedaling operation by two women foreign nationals in the boundary of the Kothanur police station in Bengaluru. In another case, the drug pedaler revealed that he joined the drug pedaling for three months with the help of a relative because he could not bear the expenses as a cab driver.

Bangalore Police Commissioner Cement Kumar Singh said: “The Bengaluru Police Department is progressing with commitment to create a society without drugs. Intense and multi-wide campaigns have been raised and through strict implementation of laws, operating on the basis of intelligence and community participation.”

Decisional action has been taken against drug pedals, distributors, inter-state and international drug networks. He said that all divisions of departments and various branches have come together to nuts and make focused efforts, he said.

Constant vigilance is kept on the surface web and darkness used for the sale of drugs. Strict action is initiated against the owners of the house so that foreign countries cannot inform them about getting out of their homes. Commissioner Cement Kumar Singh said that cooperation is ensured from schools, colleges, NGOs and civil societies through completing awareness programs.
