U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel on Tuesday to try to reach a truce in the four-month-long war in Gaza.

Blinken flew from Saudi Arabia to Egypt and then Qatar on Tuesday on his fifth Middle East crisis trip, arriving in Israel in the evening, an AFP reporter reported.
