A man was injured after a motorbike stunt Blackpool Circus Which emptied the site.
The incident occurred at the Blackpool Tower Circus on Tuesday afternoon during the “Globe of Death” Act, in which a rider performs high speed inside a steel Aries area.
Emergency services, including many ambulances and fire engines, were called for views on Prize.
The witnesses claimed that the artist appeared to lose the control part through the routine. A member of the audience told Manchester evening news, “It was around 3.50 pm this afternoon. Rider entered Aries ball and started his performance in general.
“As the second part of his performance began, he allowed the bike to work without putting the bike on the bike, but unfortunately fell and dropped the ball down.
“As he lay down there after falling, proceeded as the bike moving forward and knocked on the head. While the artists of the circus checked to see if he was fine, about 200 to 250 of us 250 of us asked to leave the circus as soon as possible.”
The rider was later rushed to the hospital with suspected serious injuries.
A spokesperson of the North West Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance crew, an air ambulance critical care team, and a duty officer participated in the scene after 999 calls at 15.49. A man was rushed to the hospital for treatment for suspected serious injuries.”
Everything Blackpool, which promotes tourism in the region, said: “We are sad to report that during today’s performance in the Blackpool Tower Circus, one of the motorcycle drivers in the prestigious Globe of Death Act suffered continuous injuries.
“Emergency services responded rapidly, and the rider was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Our views are with the artists, their families and the entire circus team during this difficult time. These artists are at great risk for adventure and enthusiasm – the Todh was a clear walker of dangers behind the spectacle.”
